Perhaps I should have clarified
I do enjoy orange, as I enjoy All color. The paint job itself, and maybe perhaps the tones selected are the things in question. It’s one of those “decorative” faux paint jobs. Florescent tones of orange with spatterings of yellow. It makes me wonder the mindset of the painter. Who on earth would have stood back, to admire this work and said “Yup, that looks GOOD!” I’m not too sure I’d like to meet that person, the way their brain works scares me a bit.
Please, dear reader. Shelter your eyes. Don your protective eye wear, and perhaps put on a bit of SPF 50 for good measure.

What bothers me the most about it (perhaps more than the color(s) itself and decorative sponge technique, is the sheer sloppiness of it. It either says “I don’t give a rats’s ass” or “By golly this is super!” Whichever, it scares me.
On the brighter side, I had no clue just how many of you were kind of near by. The prospects are exciting!
There should be an update soon (tomorrow? maybe?) I’ve been working out the studio’s many kinks, now I just need to figure out what to do about the clear plastic that was (sloppily!) put up and is now dangling from the ceiling.

Wow, hey, so THAT’S where the folks who painted our house before we owned it ended up! Our bathroom looks just the same (painted outlet covers and all) except a sort-of puky light-magenta. And my wool-room/studio was pea green sponged with burgundy sponged accents… We said it looked like someone had eated pea soup until they exploded. You can only laugh at it, then repaint when you finally get the time.

That’s sure bright! Glad to see you’re blogging, and I really enjoyed your road trip pictures….you made me laugh this morning with your sponged walls. Just one more thing to put on the to-do list.

NICE! I usually remove plug plates first… That is a awfully bright orange, accent on the “awful”.

Wow. That’s really…bright. I like orange, and I like orange rooms, but not THAT orange. And not badly painted rooms. Ick.
It’s like that orange people wear when they don’t want to get shot by hunters. Kind of a weird color to paint inside though. Maybe someone with some mental health problems painted it that color thinking that way they wouldn’t get shot? I don’t know why they’d add the yellow though. That’s just…bad.
