Unarmed
Who is the fool who lives in Vermont but does not own a snow shovel? ME! Apparently. I could have sworn at one point we did have at least one. *shrug*
The six or so inches that dropped from the heavens last night, took me by complete surprise. Shock even. It is like winter has come and smacked me upside the head…. It’s too early to want winter to end NOW, right? Right? I’m just not prepared for it this year. Insufficient acorn stash or somesuch.
♥

I hate snow. And I’ve missed you posting!! Especially since I’ve been bored out of my stinkin’ mind. (bad car accident end of Sept, still in bed. Can’t spin and can’t knit. BORED.)

Guess who just moved from Alaska to Maine and needs to buy a snow shovel (apparently.) Thanks for reminding me!
At least snow means it’s time for wearing the woolies…

I always have to hunt for mine every year. I have something like 3 or 4 but can never find them in the basement when I need them. Plus around here, if the shovel is left on the porch, they sometimes acquire legs and walk.
I want snow though!!!! I can stay in and knit.

I knew you were there all along, but I’m glad you have come out of hiding. In terms of the acorn stash, did you perhaps mean the winter liquor stash… Ah yes, I’m a little short on that, too. We’ll have to think of a plan just as soon as I recover from the sinus infection from hell. Finally, bit the bullet, and sought out western medicine.

Hey, Girl! Glad to see you’re alive and kicking. We’re expecting our first snow this weekend and it seems too soon for me. It is almost December, after all. Just stay warm by the fire and knit and spin, okay?

I am so happy you are back- I missed you! I felt the same way on tuesday when I left for nursing school at 5am and had no snow scraper for my windshield. Where do those things go over the summer? The good part of the snow falling is that it is prime knitting and spinning time.
By the way…I loved spinning the fiber I got from you at VT S&W and I am looking foward to more!

Hey, welcome back from wherever you were! I missed you!
It’s been cold here, but not too much snow yet. I’m not in any hurry. (We usually don’t get major snowfalls until late December or January.) I defrosted my freezer today and realized it was reminiscent of scraping a windshield and thought “I don’t own a car; I shouldn’t have to do this.” Stupid freezer.

Sorry about the snow but so glad to see you’re alive and kicking!

I’ve been missing you!
We had a dusting of snow, then it turned to rain.
Not pretty at all.

Yay! A Pippipost!
I may be taking a new job soon which will afford me some Pippi yarn! Sure did miss your posts–stay warm in those wild, chilly places!
