The clerk so graciously informed me that I needed deskunking too. The recipe my vet gave me: 1/4 cup baking soda, 1 quart hydrogen peroxide, small squirt of your favorite liquid soap. It worked quite well, I even mixed up more to spray my walls because the damn smell is invasive. I will warn you though: hydrogen peroxide is freakin' damn cold! Bad enough to stink like a skunk, but then to stand nekkid in the shower and pour that stuff over my head??? Eeeeeee yawww! WTF? It's going to be a long summer and I think I mean that literally.
