TMIF
Sit down, pour yourself a cuppa, and pass me the earplugs, will ya?
I’m awaiting a propane delivery, so I can get some dyeing done. Until then I figured I’d flash the latest things to come off the needles…
More Mitts.

3.2 oz 2 ply handspun,
hand dyed, hand cleaned Montadale x Leicester & nylon
with a ply of handpainted domestic
DK wt. on US 3s & 5s
Mr.Pippi heckled them. (But he always heckes my knitting, I hardly every pay any mind to it…)Saying they were too pointy and the thumbs looked like sausages.
Next pair, I’ll go with the afterthought thumb. Thanks Mr. Pipps!
And to prove it hasn’t been all mitts all the time here over at the love shack

Some fulled slippers in Noro Kureyon #88 on US 10s
I tried to get a photo of them in their natural habitat, but, urggg.
And, (yep, one more!) I got on the bandwagon…
Calorimetry from Knitty

I made a few changes..
I cast on 98 st with a handspun DK wt. single on size US 2s (yes, you read that right, US size 2)
I really love the button… Of course, it is from Moving Mud.
I tried my best to get a good close up of it.

Curse you flash photography!
*shakes fist at sky*
Today is my kick off of Project Spectrum V 2.0

Three cheers for Lolly!
I’m normally not a big -along-er, but, I loved the first version and I’m back for more!!!
Have a happy Groundhog day!
I heard the when he came out he made a comment about global warming.

Love the fulled slippers! Are they just abbreviated socks? (brain-curning sounds)
Sheesh, EVERYBODY is talking about global warming now. That must mean that it is either a) passe (imagine the accent over the e) or b) real. I wonder which it is.

Those slippers are a knock-out!!!!!!! Love that the groundhog is talking about global warming. He’s so contemporary! I travel for work and by the looks of all the acres of trees they’re cutting down in Southside VA, we’ll be toast in no time. Very very sad.

Damn, What’s up with the heckling husbands? I think they sometimes get jealous of the yarn. The guys cannot handle too much of it at one time. By the way, the color merging of your kureyon slippers is stunning. I love them.

Those slippers are ridiculously gorgeous.

What does he know - those mitts are cool. And I love the slippers. I keep thinking I want to make a calorimetry too.
haha - I missed Phil this morning, I’m glad to see he’s with the times and globally conscious.

Love the slippers. I have wanted to make some with Noro and now after seeing yours, I must make a pair. I love the shape of yours, if you don’t mind me asking, where did you find the pattern?
February 3rd, 2007 | #
Well, Mr. Pippi is just going to have to knit his own, then, isn’t he? The mittens are awesome. But I’m secretly glad there is no need for them here. *shivers* I do love the slippers, too. What a great idea to make them from Noro! I’m feeling a serious “me, too” moment coming on and the need to make an impulse buy!!!

Omigosh, the slippers are AWESOME! I haven’t had the overwhelming urge to knit a pair, but now I do! What pattern did you use? How much Noro? I must make a pair of stripey Noro slippers - and I have JUST the colorway in mind (and in stash!)
Oh, got the merino/tencel I ordered - GORGEOUS! I just want to sit and stare at it and pet it from time to time - that one is getting spun up just for me me me! Thanks, hon!
