Don't loose faith, don't give up, vote, and blog whatever you want to! That's the only way to find like-minded friends. How could you ever please thousands of anonymous readers anyway? Bet you're happy now that the results are in!

War is not a family value - right on. Dem's took it so hopefully we'll see a little more modesty in the gov't

retreat? What retreat? I'm so out of the loop.

I'm in spitir with the NaNoWriMo and the NaNoSweMo - Someday the kids will be all grown and I won't know what to do with myself. haha. Who am I kidding. I'll be visiting you more often that's for sure.

Don't lose faith woman, we need all the fight we can give to see things change. Sometimes it is not for us to see but the seeds of change we plant show the way for others in the future :)

I love your "hmmm, what happens if I do....this!" approach :) 5 ply? fun stuff! And the shifts available in the colors are wonderful, so how does it look knit up? Curious minds want to know! ;)

Pip, don't stop sharing your perspectives, political or otherwise! I fear my voting post last week, which 'gave away' my pol proclivities, had the same effect on my readership, but lower stats be damned! I don't want to proselytize, but I don't want to be afraid to share that I am a liberal and I am apalled by the way things are going in this country. Have you checked out http://imaknitterandivote.blogspot.com ? i supported your post there today.

i voted, and i'm lucky, because we still use paper ballots and a felt pen. yeah, luddites!

ps that multiply is gorge. and like abby, wonder how you did it...

I love your politics. You will have to work harder than that if you want me to unsubscribe you from my bloglines.

I voted this morning and fed my ballot into the electronic tallying machine (not Diebold, but still not reassuring). Hopefully we will be marching out of joy tomorrow.

We're voting here as well, of course. The manchild has the day off school, and we're all gonna go vote for the first time in Ohio. It's been really interesting to move to a different political arena -- shockingly, in many respects, although the prevailing end of the political spectrum around here is COMPLETELY different from Silicon Valley, I'm finding people to be a lot more thoughtful, and conversation and debate to be in some respects less reactionary. Of course, there's still not really a lot of candidates I feel like voting for. Heh.

So, 5-ply: I have to know, is it cabled-y-like, or 5 plies at once?
