Ooh, nice haul!

I am so sorry we didn't make it up in time to see you on Saturday. We did eventually make it there on Sunday and had a great time. I plan on going next year, too, so I'll have to plan better to meet you then.

oh, pippi, i'm green (and purple, and gold, and orange!) w/ envy. seems lately all the cool peeps are in vermont. those batts you made are delectable. i *need* to get a carder. i still haven't made it to a fiber fest; i'm transpo-less and can't entice anyone to join me. ah well, living vicariously through you will have to do for now. cheers, velma
ps didn't i see your name being bandied about in the new knitty? i think i saw something on dying there... might just give me the confidence to give it a whirl. :)

Wow, looks like good fun was had! It sounds as if your sheep & wool festival is a bit more fiber-centric (as opposed to yarn- and finished item-centric) than ours.

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes of the mohair and alpaca! And the silk? Incredible!

An occasional day without children is a real vacation, isn't it? I got 6 hours' time off for good behavior and came home to an inconsolable 7yo, who NEEDED me during the thunderstorm because her dear old dad was not enough to comfort her.

You flatter me, my darling, but I'll take what I can get. Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk more, but see above: 6 hours' freedom and a one-hour commute each way. And yes, I was kidding about the bag versus the hair but I fear I only confused you.

I did come home with a spindle. Picture to come on the blog. Tomorrow?

I LOVE that mohair.

Oooooh, so much fibery goodness! I look forward to seeing your dyed locks. What is in your batt? Is it sari silk & tinkle? It is alluring.

Please tell me you have contact info for the bumper sticker. I realize it won't have quite as much punch in the golden state, but . . .
