i am always having requests for sock yarn, but, my handspun sock yarn would cost about 80 per pair.. not so cost effective, no. so, i thought i’d go back to where i started. (i got into this whole spinning thing thru handpainting and dyeing yarn!)

lorissa, it has been a crazy week, with not a whole lot accomplished.
i’ve been spending time out in the garden, trying to ready it for our ‘crops’

there is alot of work still needing to be done.
we went to the nearby garden store yesterday to try to find some worms, no luck. i’m going to have to order them.

in other news, my computer has been acting very strange for the past two days.

i hope it didn’t catch a cold or virus. if i suddenly drop off the face of the internet, you know why.

a shout of thanks to susan and jamye for recommending rainbow colony, on ebay shipping was uber quick and the fibers are worlds better than the first batch that i got. i was even able to put some thru my carder. what fun!!

i liked it muchly as a single, but i was wanting something to ply with another single of sari-ness.

the sparkle is no illusion, the sari shines like the dickens and i carded tinkle in there for good measure.

i have the dyepots fired up, it has been a few days since i’ve done any.
which, i can’t believe. very odd for me, even when things are a madhouse, i normally can still manage to dye.
