because the world would be a much brighter and colorful place if we could get rid of the resident.
this one was a “whoops-y”
i was jonesing to do some atomic kitchen dyeing… and i’ve been out of black acid dyes.
so, i used some fiber reactive stuff… (they claim you can use them like acid dyes as well.)
well, it broke to high hell.

my beautiful baby daddy had taken the kids out!!! it isn’t even mother’s day or my birthday!
not so much on today’s agenda. the house has gotten trashed from general neglect. it would be really awesome to tidy up and start the new week out in a clean abode.

This was on my weekend agenda as well. Did it happen though? Of course….not! It was sooo bright outside that I couldn’t resist dyeing fiber instead of folding laundry(pug’s on some folded stuff right now and the cat’s in the clothes basket with the rest) or doing dishes(I just shoved them all into one side of the sink…I’m so lazy!)
The problem with cleaning is I put it off and put it off until it’s overwhelming and then I don’t know where to start so I just don’t. I think I’m going to start some 7 day a week program where I do one room each day as much as I can after getting home from work.

I just finished spinning up some yarn in similar colors to atomic whoops. Except mine was on purpose. Its pink and greens and I’m calling it Army Girl. I’m very excited about it since I’ve been trying to figure out how to make some “pippiplied” (as I call them) yarns. I love the color effects on your plied yarns. I’m posting pics on crafterati tonight.
