my socks are finished!

you may remeber i started them way back here!..
longest socks in history, the first one taking only 2 days, the second, a month.
they took well under 250 yards of this yarn, which was a sport-dk weight
knit on US size 3s
i broke the first rule about posting finished objects tho, which, to my understanding is you post the minute you finish, regardless of the time of day. and that rule caught up with me. i put them on and promptly spilled blue dye on the top of sock #1. AYE. just a spot, but i know it is there. ALSO, i messed up toe #2. how i did it, i’ll never know. it looks purly. that hasn’t happened to me ever. again, that is what i get trying to finish it while chaos was erupting in the pippi abode.
grey and murky outside. oh well. may showers bring, er, june…. pollen??
